After-School Climbing Club
Winter 2026 Schedule and Registration
This program is designed for young climbers who want to explore the world of indoor climbing in a safe, fun, and educational environment. Whether your child is new to climbing or simply wants to climb for fun, After School Climbing Club offers a welcoming mix of recreation, skill-building, and personal growth—without the pressure of coaching or competition.
Session 1 (Boardman Schools)
Dates: Tuesdays, from 2/10–3/2
Elementary Schools: 3:00–4:30 PM
Middle Schools: 3:45–5:15 PM
Transportation is included for all three Boardman elementary schools and Boardman Center Middle School.
Pricing
$100 - with transportation
$80 - without transportation (use code “20off” at checkout)
Session 2 (Canfield Schools)
Dates: Thursdays, from 2/12–3/5
Middle Schools: 2:45–4:15 PM
Elementary Schools: 3:30–5:00 PM
Transportation is included for both Canfield elementary schools and Canfield Middle School.

Kids are welcome from any school. Choose the program dates that work best for your child and plan for drop-off and pick-up at the listed program times.

Join us to discover the joy of climbing, make new friends, and reach new heights – both on and off the wall! Our program is designed to grow strong minds and bodies in our community's youth, guided by caring and experienced staff from both Climb Youngstown and ECO EdVentures.

Our Partnership with ECO EdVentures
We're thrilled to partner with ECO EdVentures to bring this exceptional climbing experience to students throughout the Youngstown area. This collaboration combines Climb Youngstown's climbing expertise with ECO EdVentures' passion for engaging, child-led learning experiences.
Open to All: Our program welcomes students from all schools in the area.
Transportation: ECO staff will pick up kids from participating Boardman & Canfield schools and transport them safely to Climb Youngstown.
Self-Transportation Option: Students from other schools are welcome to join; parents/guardians will need to arrange their own transportation to and from Climb Youngstown.
Supervision: All children are supervised in small groups throughout the sessions to ensure safe, fun climbing experiences.
Learning Philosophy: At ECO EdVentures, we believe kids learn best by doing. We follow a child-led learning approach, nurturing children's natural curiosity as we explore the world of climbing together.
What to Expect
Safety First: During the first visit, we cover gym rules, safety protocols, and demonstrate various climbing techniques.
Climbing Sessions: Weekly sessions where kids can practice, play, and progress at their own pace.
Skill Building: Learn essential climbing techniques, problem-solving skills, and build confidence.
Fun Challenges: Participate in friendly competitions and creative climbing games.
Diverse Activities: Experience a range of activities including climbing, yoga, slack-lining, and more!
Team Building: Develop trust, communication, and cooperation through group activities.
Outdoor Appreciation: Gain knowledge about rock climbing in nature and environmental stewardship.
