Climb Youngstown After-School Programs
Looking for a fun, active way for your child to spend their afternoons? School of Rocks gives kids an exciting introduction to climbing in a safe, supportive environment with their classmates and friends.
In partnership with ECO Edventures, Climb Youngstown provides transportation directly from Canfield & Boardman schools. Students are picked up after school in our 15-passenger van and brought to our facility to climb.
Boardman Schools - Fall 2026 Session Details
Dates: Tuesdays; Sept. 29, Oct. 6, 13 & 20
Times:
Elementary Schools: 3:00–4:30 PM
Center School: 3:45–5:15 PM
Transportation: Included for all three Boardman elementary schools and Boardman Center Middle School.
Pricing: $100
Canfield Schools - Fall 2026 Session Details
Dates: Thursdays; Oct. 29, Nov. 5, 12 & 19
Times:
Middle Schools: 2:45–4:15 PM
Elementary Schools: 3:30–5:00 PM
Transportation: Included for both Canfield elementary schools and Canfield Middle School.
Pricing: $100

Our Partnership with ECO EdVentures
We're thrilled to partner with ECO EdVentures to bring this exceptional climbing experience to students throughout the Youngstown area. This collaboration combines Climb Youngstown's climbing expertise with ECO EdVentures' passion for engaging, child-led learning experiences.
Open to All: Our program welcomes students from all schools in the area.
Transportation: ECO staff will pick up kids from participating Boardman & Canfield schools and transport them safely to Climb Youngstown.
Supervision: All children are supervised in small groups throughout the sessions to ensure safe, fun climbing experiences.
Learning Philosophy: At ECO EdVentures, we believe kids learn best by doing. We follow a child-led learning approach, nurturing children's natural curiosity as we explore the world of climbing together.
What to Expect
Safety First: During the first visit, we cover gym rules, safety protocols, and demonstrate various climbing techniques.
Climbing Sessions: Weekly sessions where kids can practice, play, and progress at their own pace.
Skill Building: Learn essential climbing techniques, problem-solving skills, and build confidence.
Fun Challenges: Participate in friendly competitions and creative climbing games.
Diverse Activities: Experience a range of activities including climbing, yoga, slack-lining, and more!
Team Building: Develop trust, communication, and cooperation through group activities.
Outdoor Appreciation: Gain knowledge about rock climbing in nature and environmental stewardship.
